Research Overview：
Prof. Ruei-Feng Shiu’s research focuses on marine environmental pollution and biogeochemical processes, including environmental microplastic and nanoplastic contamination, ocean carbon sequestration and blue carbon processes, ecological risk assessment and control technologies for marine pollution, marine oil spill pollution, and the role of microbial extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) in contaminant aggregation, transport, and transformation.
